Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) provides regular financial help if you are unable to work due to an accident.
In the UK, PAI is often included as an optional extra, or as standard in a variety of policies and it is highly likely that you already have some form of cover in place.
It is, however, important that you assess your own individual risk to make provision for your future and protect your lifestyle should you become incapacitated.
Personal Accident policies are a must if you are employed or self-employed and want financial protection in the event of an accident which leaves you unable to work. Premiums and cover depend on the amount of cover you need, the type of cover you choose and how long you want to wait before receiving the benefits.
